Metadata catalog GeoNetwork:
· Search - For searching a metadata record you can use field "Search" at main page or at tab Search. This field serves to full-text catalog search. You can use wildcards "?" and "*".
· Extended search - For extended search (e.g. by keywords or categories) click on a tab "Search" at left upper part of main page and then click on three vertical dots next to blue search button. It is also possible to search by scan number. Warning: Due to large amount or records in catalog searching may be very slow.
· Geographic search - Tab "Search" contains interactive map at right lower part of page you can use to search records using georeference. By clicking on edit icon in left upper corner you can enable drawing mode. By dragging mouse you can draw rectangular. Default setting is filtering all records that intersect with the rectangular. For filtering records only within rectangular click on arrow next to the edit icon.
· Record detail - Each record detail contains links to Charles University Central Catalog, links to maps and metadata. Maps are available in JPG format or in interactive viewer in openLayers.
· Exporting of metadata and map - To download complete metadata including the map in the highest resolution use option "Export (ZIP)" from the "Download" menu in the upper right corner. It is also possible to download metadata in PDF, XML and RDF format.
· openLayers - By clicking on link to OpenLayers preview requested map will be displayed in openLayers viewer.
